1. Introduce of Yacht

The yacht is an advanced consumer durable for water entertainment. It integrates navigation, sports, entertainment, leisure and other functions to meet the needs of individuals and families to enjoy life. In developed countries, yachts are mostly privately owned as cars. In developing countries, yachts are used as parks and tourist attractions for people to consume, and a small number of them are used as means of operation for port supervisors, public security, and border defense. The yacht is an essential feature of entertainment tools that distinguish it from high-speed boats and tourist passenger ships as means of transport. The yacht will be like the car, becoming the next generation of durable consumer goods into the home.

The price of yachts ranges from hundreds of thousands to tens of millions. The price of large luxury yachts is generally over 10 million yuan, medium-sized yachts are over 2 million, and small yachts range from hundreds of thousands to 2 million. As the size and interior decoration increase, the price increases. The price difference between different yacht origins is generally 2/3 of the price of yachts made in the United States, half of that of Italy, and the price of yachts in the UK is higher.

Yacht consumption is conditional. First, there must be high income, which is the economic basis for yacht consumption. Yachts are expensive and are a luxury. To buy a yacht, you can not only afford it, but also have a place to store your yacht, a yacht trailer, a car to pull a yacht trailer to and from home and the beach, or you can afford to rent a yacht at the dock for rent and yacht maintenance. .

Second is the abundant water resources, which is the natural basis for yacht consumption. The yacht is a water entertainment product, the long coastline, and many rivers and lakes provide a space for consumption. The yacht industry in the United States and Canada is developed, and one of the main reasons for the vast market for yacht consumption is that they have the natural geography of the East Atlantic Ocean, the west to the Pacific Ocean, and the inland lakes. The fact that there are more than 20 yacht factories in Changzhou, China, surrounded by several large lakes, can also be instructed in this regard.

2. The yacht industry in China

With the development of the economy and the improvement of residents' living standards, yachts are becoming a new consumer goods for people's entertainment. Especially in developed countries, such as the United States, Italy, France and the United Kingdom, the demand for a wide variety of yachts is growing, and at the same time, these countries are the main producers of yachts.

From the perspective of the global yacht market as a whole, the United States, Italy, France and the United Kingdom and other European and American countries dominate the market. In terms of production volume, the United States builds about 20,000 leisure yachts every year, ranking first in the world. In 2007, only 1100 domestic leisure yachts were built and produced, and there are more than 50 marine power mainframe manufacturers supporting them. The leisure yacht production and construction enterprises and supporting enterprises employ more than 500,000 people. And the employed people rank first in the country. In 2007, the output of France and the United Kingdom was divided into two or three, with an annual output of 7,900 and 3,300 respectively. The three major exporters of leisure yachts are France, the United Kingdom and Germany. The average annual export volume of the three countries is 4,300, 2,100 and 1,900 respectively.

In 2008, there were more than 200 yacht manufacturing enterprises in China, and there were more than 30 enterprises with an output value of more than 10 million. These enterprises are mainly concentrated in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Qingdao, Tianjin, Xiamen, Zhuhai, Changzhou, Suzhou and other cities. There are more than 100 yachts along the coast, mainly concentrated in Qingdao, Shenzhen, Suzhou and other places.

As an emerging industry, the yacht industry has been highly valued by many local leaders, and has placed high hopes on the development of the yacht industry as a city brand. Liaoning, Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Hainan and other coastal and inland water tourism resources and relatively economically developed provinces and cities have developed, including Shenzhen, Shanghai, Qingdao, Rizhao and other places. Developed faster. Qingdao and Rizhao Due to the factors of the 2008 Olympic Sailing and World Sailing, the yacht industry is developing very fast.

From 2007 to 2008, there were three changes in the yachting industry across the country, and three booms emerged: First, the yacht industry planning fever. Many cities do yacht industry planning and water system landscape planning; the second boom is the construction of yacht clubs. In the past, many yachting industries were more engaged in the manufacture of yachts, and they did not pay enough attention to the big cake of the yacht consumption market. Since 2006, there have been many places in the country to build yacht clubs or plan yacht clubs; the third boom is the yacht business activity. As an effective carrier, yacht has become more and more accepted by business people as a high-end carrier. It is not a sports product, but a leisure product and a carrier of business. Therefore, yacht business activities have appeared everywhere.

The future development of China's yacht industry lies in the rapid growth of China's economy and the huge terminal demand it brings. The challenge is whether yachts as a new type of tourism and holiday can be well developed in China is still uncertain.

The world leisure yacht market will maintain an average annual growth rate of 7% in 2009-2010. By 2010, the annual demand for the world leisure yacht market will reach $33.2 billion. Compared with the average 171 people in a developed country owning a yacht, the per capita possession of Chinese yachts still has a huge room for improvement. It can be expected that with the further development of the economy and the gradual transformation of people's life concept, the yacht industry will develop rapidly in China.
