Proto-star Hourglass Accretion Disk

NASA released a photo of the original Taurus star "L1527" taken by the James Weber Telescope (JWST). This protostar is 430 light-years away from Earth. It was formed about 100,000 years ago and is currently in the earliest stages of star birth. L1527 "Injects material outward while absorbing cosmic gas and dust, forming an hourglass-shaped accretion disk, which will eventually turn nuclear polymerization into a star similar to the sun.
