The last 747 produced by Boeing went offline from Seattle. On December 6, the production line of the Boeing 747 series was officially discontinued, ending a 54-year manufacturing history. Launched in 1967, the Boeing 747 is the world's first wide-body dual-channel civil aircraft. So far, it has produced 1,574 aircraft and carried more than 5.9 billion passengers. It has become the world's highest passenger aircraft model for 37 consecutive years. The Boeing 747 has been phased out as a cargo plane by mainstream airlines due to its high fuel consumption.
